In case you’v been living under a rock, you’d have noticed there is a global health pandemic going. Most countries went to lockdowns and only ‘essential” services were allowed to remain open. Fashion Week events was not of these. However, now that some countries have started to ease their lockdown restrictions, there may be some hope that some fashion week events will still go ahead. Let’s go through some of the major ones…
June ⬇️
Graduate Fashion Week -> CANCELLED.
It does return next year. In a statement, GFW said “a lot of incredible people put their heart and soul into Graduate Fashion Week 2020, to our Graduate Fashion Foundation family, thank you. We are deeply disappointed to have to cancel, but look forward to seeing you again soon and welcoming you back for our 30th Anniversary celebrations in 2021 and to showcase the largest exhibition of BA fashion talent in the world”
Paris Fashion Week – Mens -> CANCELLED.
In a statement by FHCM, they say “The spread of the Covid-19 epidemic, which is spreading throughout the world, calls for strong decisions to protect our homes, their employees and all those who work for our industry. Consequently, the Board of Directors of the Haute Couture and Fashion Federation considers that the conditions are not met to allow the Paris Fashion Week® Men’s Fashion, scheduled from June 23 to June 28, 2020, to take place”

Paris Haute Couture Week -> Digital
Couture week will go ahead… but it’ll be digital! In a statement by FHCM, they say
“On the occasion of the presentation of the Fall – Winter 2020/2021 collections, the Haute Couture and Fashion Federation is setting up an online Haute Couture event. It will take place from July 6 to 8, 2020. This event will be structured around a dedicated platform. The principle of the official calendar is maintained. Each House registered on the official calendar will be present in the form of a creative and free film / video. Other content will appear in an editorial section of the platform. The whole will be widely relayed on the main global broadcasting networks”.
August ⬇️
Copenhagen Fashion Week -> STILL ON!
In a statement by the organisers, they say “we are fortunate that the Danish society is opening up more quickly than expected, making it possible for us to hold Copenhagen fashion week…”
The only thing is the date have been from August 4-7 to August 9-12.
September ⬇️
New York Fashion Week -> STILL ON!
No official cancellation or postponement news from New York. Still scheduled to go ahead on original dates, September 11-16.
London Fashion Week -> STILL ON
No official cancellation or postponement news from the British Fashion Council. Still scheduled to go ahead on original dates, September 18-22.
Milan Fashion Week -> STILL ON
No official cancellation or postponement news from the British Fashion Council. Still scheduled to go ahead on original dates, September 22-28
Paris Fashion Week -> STILL ON
No official cancellation or postponement news from the FHCM. Still scheduled to go ahead on original dates, September 28 – October 6.

Seoul Fashion Week -> STILL ON
No official cancellation or postponement news from the British Fashion Council. Still scheduled to go ahead on original dates, October 14-20
